Add an explicit WIP limit to a sprint
Multitasking kills productivity and in some bad cases causes a mini waterfall in a Sprint. The best Scrum teams know they should limit the amount of stories they work on at one time. Many teams don't explicitly understand this. I propose adding an explicit WIP limit to help flow in a sprint.

I agree with Marc Trudeau on this one. I wouldn't enforce this, besides teams might come up with better techniques to be more productive in delivering business value.

I understand the motivation for this change, but it is so much more powerful when the team discovers and adopts such improvements on their own. Rather than impose things in the Guide, I encourage Scrum Masters to cleverly wield the existing transparency tools of Scrum to get the team to provide the SM an opening (such as in the Retro) to suggest WIP limits, swarming, etc.; or even facilitate the team to think of these options themselves.
