All Scrum Team members should be allowed to answer in the Daily Scrum
Near the end of the "Daily Scrum" sections it says: "The Scrum Master enforces the rule that only Development Team members participate in the Daily Scrum."
This implies that the PO and the SM can NOT be transparent (in the DS) about what they did, and what problems they had.
This implies (to many) that the Doers are giving a status update to the PO and SM.
It is better for overall Team chemistry that the PO and SM are also transparent.
It is also necessary that they ALL realize that only when all pull together will they have the highest success. (Ohno's rowing metaphor.) This means, to me, that they must all speak in the DS.
Yes, the Doers may say "what's the PO's work got to do with us?".... that question is not a problem but an opportunity.
I know Ken wants to focus solely on fulfilling the 'forecast' -- but to really win the Release the whole Scrum Team must all collaborate every day. Cf Agile Principle #4.

If what they have to say is related to the spring goal and add value to the meeting, why not. If not related the activities that emerges from the sprint backlog, this may add unnecessary complexity in the meeting.
